TIFR Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for TIFR:
- Project Laboratory Assistant (B) –
- Qualification: National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% aggregate marks, awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in Air Conditioning. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with 60% aggregate marks, awarded by NCVT in Air Conditioning Trade.
- Desirable Experience: 1 year of experience in the Air Conditioning trade.
- Project Scientific Officer (B) –
- Qualification: Full-Time M.Sc./M.S. from a recognized University/Institute with 60% aggregate marks in Physics / Mathematics / Computer Science or any related subject/discipline in theoretical/mathematical sciences. OR Full-Time B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized University/Institute with 60% aggregate marks in the relevant subject/discipline. Professional experience related to Science Communication using online multimedia or web design tools.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Full-time ME/MTech (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science or any related subject/discipline in theoretical / mathematical sciences
- Experience with web designing, creating videos, and multimedia using AI-based tools
- Familiarity with word-processing, photo-editing, video-editing and content management software
- Experience of working with a research institute/body, in its science communication/outreach activity
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (in English), with proven ability to write and copy-edit varied types of content for a diverse audience;
- Background and interest in theoretical sciences relevant to TIFR Colaba

- Project Clerk (A) –
- Qualification & Experience: Graduate from a recognized University/Institute with 50% aggregate marks. Knowledge of typing. Knowledge of using personal computers and applications, supported by certificates from Government-recognized institutions. Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organization.
- Project Clerk (A) –
- Qualification & Experience: Graduate from a recognized University/Institute with 50% aggregate marks. Knowledge of typing. Knowledge of personal computers and applications, supported by certificates from Government-recognized institutions. Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organization.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience: Graduation in any field with Basic Knowledge of Store Keeping Procedures.
- Desirable: Candidates with experience as a Clerk or similar position in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs will be preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and database management, supported by a certificate from a Government-recognized institution.
- Project Work Assistant –
- Qualification & Experience: S.S.C. or Equivalent (Central/State Board Examinations) Minimum 1 year of experience
- Desirable: Candidates with experience as Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) or similar work experience in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs will be preferred. Prior knowledge of event management-related work / on-site logistics arrangements.
