SINP Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for SINP:

1. Scientist ‘C’ – A/1/2026 -SC-S – 
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics from a recognised University/Institution. 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Good working experience in analogue and digital electronic circuits and fault debugging, (ii)Hands-on experience in mechanical design and proficiency in CAD & FEA software, (iii) Good programming skills with C++, Python, Matlab, LabVIEW etc. with experience in Image processing and Image analysis. (iv) Strong organizational and communication skills.
2. Scientist ‘C’ – A/2/2026 -SC-L – 
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Physics /Optics/Photonics from a recognised University/Institution. 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: Hands-on-working experience in: (i)All Classes of Laser systems, (ii)Photonics and Optical Spectroscopy setups, (iii)Analog and Digital Electronic and Optoelectronic instruments.
3. Scientist ‘C’ – A/3/2026 -SC-T –
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics from a recognised University/Institution.
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Hands-on experience with electron microscopic system operation and sample preparation techniques. (ii) Familiarity with electron microscopy data analysis and image processing tools. (iii)Strong organizational and communication skills. (iv) Prior experience with an electron microscopy or research laboratory is an advantage.
4. Scientist ‘C’ – A/4/2026 -SC-F – 
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Physics/ Electronics from a recognised University/Institution. 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 2 (two) years post qualification experience in the relevant field as x-ray synchrotron beamline development / beam optics specialist / electronics specialist / instrumentation specialist (ii) Experience in operating medium and high energy ion beam accelerators. (iii) Certification of successful completion of a beam optics simulation course or advanced degree in the field of ion beam accelerators conducted by a recognized accelerator centre.
5. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/1/2026-SAB (COMP) – 
   • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Computer Software Technology or Computer Science & Technology 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Two (2) years experience in HPC management and maintenance (ii) Knowledge and experience in Open Source tools for managing networks, databases, clusters of high availability nodes and high performance computers. (iii) Experience in Linux/Unix based programming languages and scripting – Python, PHP, Html, CSS. (iv) Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, Perl. Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity, virtualization, containers, network design. (v) Experience in managing data, voice and CCTV networks. Knowledge of electrical & cooling systems. Knowledge and Experience with HPC tools like xCAT, Warewulf, Ansible, OpenHPC, Parallel file systems, High-speed interconnects, Scientific software’s (MATLAB, Simulation software). (vi) Experience with job schedulers and resource managers such as SLURM, PBS Pro, LSF, SGE, OpenPBS
6. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/2/2026-SAB (GR-B) – 
   • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: Should have knowledge in – (i) various front-end electronics for example digital to analogue converter (DAC) circuits, analogue to digital converter (ADC) circuits, preamplifier, op-amps, waveform generators, filters, shaper, pulse-attenuators. (ii) Constant current and constant voltage circuits. (iii) Coincidence logic for triggers, time-stamping unit etc. (iv) Maintenance of digitizers, pre-amplifier, shaper and filters and other electronic equipment. (v) Some knowledge in computer programming will be a plus.
7. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/3/2026-SAB (SIRC) – 
   • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Computer Software Technology 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Two (2) years experience in Development of Software (ii) Experience in at least one item from the following: a) Programming Languages: Python, C/C++ or Java b) Application tools: Mathematica, MatLab, Maple etc or any other specific software like big data hadling tools, AI/ML tools or other scientific data tools with knowledge of scientific libraries c) Working experience in RDBMS
8. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/4/2026-SAB (BM-E) – 
   • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Power System 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: Working experience in a reputed organization in the field of Erection, operation and maintenance of 33KV/440-volt Substation, DG Sets, Lift Experience in different Electrical Projects. Having Electrical supervisor’s permit issued by the State Licensing Board will be an added advantage.
9. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/5/2026-SAB (AC) – 
   • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering / HVAC Engineering 
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience: Specialized course in Refrigeration and Air conditioning from a recognized Polytechnic / Institute. Proven experience in the planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC works, equipment, AC plants, split AC systems, and window AC units.
10. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ – B/6/2026-SAB (WKS) – 
    • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: i) Two (2) years experience in Advance CNC Machining. ii) Sufficient practical knowledge about programming and operation of CNC Lathe, Milling, Wire EDM and Water Jet cutting machine. The candidate should have proficiency in Computer aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
11. Technician‘B’ – C/1/2026-TB(Comp) – 
    • Essential Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance and iii) Three (3) years experience in Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths (ii) Experience in Assembly/disassembly of PC’s, printers & peripherals and troubleshooting. LAN/Wi-Fi maintenance and Setup, Basic server monitoring. Installation & troubleshooting of copper and optical cables for data, voice and CCTV networks. Monitoring AC and UPS’s. Wiring & troubleshooting of electrical equipment’s. Knowledge of programming languages – Python, PHP, Html, CSS. Linux Bash.
12. Technician‘B’ – C/2/2026-TB(WKS) – 
    • Essential Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Welding Trade and iii) Three (3) years experience in the relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths, ii) Skill in welding thin section stainless steel weldments using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Candidate must have practical knowledge about Gas cutting, Brazing and Gas welding.
13. Technician‘B’ – C/3/2026-TB(BMC-1) – 
    • Essential Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Draughtsmanship (Civil) and iii) Three (3) years experience in Civil Draughtsmanship 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths (ii) Certificate in Auto Computer Aided Design (Auto CAD) or equivalent from DOEACC (Department of Electronics Computer Accreditation Courses) Society or any other reputed Institute. Post-qualification 3 years of experience in Civil R.C.C / structural drawing in Auto CAD both in 2D and 3D view. Experience in wooden furniture, steel & civil structural drawing and knowledge in civil site supervision work shall be given preference.
14. Technician‘B’ – C/4/2026-TB(BMC-2) – 
    • Essential Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Carpentry Trade and iii) Three (3) years experience in Carpentry 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths (ii) 3 years of Post-qualification experience in wooden fabrication and maintenance work of building including office furniture, laboratories& residential quarters at various locations including working at heights. Further, knowledge in Aluminium door, window & partitioning work, glazing work, steel window & steel door repairing work shall be given preference.
15. Technician‘B’ – C/5/2026-TB(ELEC) –
    • Essential Qualification:  i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Electrician/Electrician & Wireman Trade and iii) Three (3) years experience as Electrician. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths. (ii) Having working experience in a reputed organization in the field of Erection, operation and maintenance of 33KV/440-volt Substation. DG Sets and lifts. Having Electrical workman’s permit issued by the state Licensing Board will be added advantage.
16. Technician‘B’ – C/6/2026-TB(AC) –
    • Essential Qualification:  i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician and iii) Three (3) years experience in the relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths. (ii)Experience in erection & commissioning of HVAC Works and Equipment. Planning, execution and maintenance of AC Plant.
17. Technician‘B’ – C/7/2026-TB(ELECT) –
    • Essential Qualification:  i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Electronics Mechanic/Mechanic embedded systems and PLC and iii) Three (3) years experience in the relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths. (ii) Should have knowledge and practical expertise/experience in 1. Maintaining different electronic circuits for control systems. 2. Knowledge in working with various front-end electronics, for example, analogue converter (DAC) circuits, analogue to digital converter (ADC) circuits, pre-amplifier, op-amps, waveform generators, filters, shaper, pulse-attenuators. 3. Knowledge in computer programming and interfacing with software like LabVIEW, Python-based programming. 4. Soldering of small components on Veroboard or PCB.
18. Technician‘B’ – C/8/2026-TB(SIRC) –
    • Essential Qualification:  i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Computer Operation and Programming Assistant and iii) Three (3) years experience in the relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths (ii) Working knowledge of computer on – a. Organizing and saving files and folders, b. Browsing the internet, using email, c. Creating and editing documents using word processors (like MS Word / Libre Office) and spreadsheets (like MS Excel / Libre calc), d. Understanding basic threats like malware.
19. Technician‘B’ – C/9/2026-TB(FRENA) –
    • Essential Qualification:  i) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) pass and ii) ITI pass (not less than 1 year duration) in Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic embedded systems and PLC and iii) Three (3) years experience in the relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths (ii) Should have knowledge and hands-on expertise/experience in – a) Electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, detectors and power electronics circuits, front-end electronics etc. or b) Mechanical workshop trades, operation of mechanical tools like power drills, power cutters, lathe machine, fitting and alignment jobs or c) Operation, repair and maintenance of high vacuum pumps and systems.
20. Assistant Administrative Officer – I – B/7/2026- AAO-I – 
    • Deputation: (i) Officers holding Analogous Post in DAE/Aided institutions Or (ii) Officers having a minimum of 03 years of regular service in Pay Level – 6. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Good knowledge of GOI Rules, regulations and procedures in respect of service matters and General Financial Rules. (ii)The candidate should be well versed with the usage of computers.
21. Lower Division Clerk  – C/10/2026- LDC – 
    • Essential Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: (i) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English corresponding to computer typing speed of 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. (ii) Certified course in computers recognized by Central/State Government. (iii) Good communication skill, both oral and written English. (iv) Knowledge / Experience in any standard accounting software, e.g. Tally, etc. (v) Good Knowledge in Office software and its applications.
22. Security Guard ‘A’  – C/11/2026- SGA – 
    • Essential Qualification: For Ex-servicemen who have rendered minimum 15 years of service: (i) SSC or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent certificate from Armed Forces. (ii) Physical fitness as per GOI norms. For Civilians: (i) SSC or equivalent from a recognized Board (ii) Physical fitness as per GOI norms. 
    • Experience: 2 years relevant experience. 
23. Work Assistant ‘A’  – C/12/2026- WA – 
    • Essential Qualification: (i) Secondary School Certificate SSC or equivalent. (ii) Minimum 1(one) year experience in a relevant field. 
    • Desirable Qualification and Experience: As per technical requirement, ITI in the relevant subject may be preferred.
24. Halwai – Cook – C/13/2026-Cook – 
    • Essential Qualification: (i) 10th class pass with Certificate/Diploma in Catering and (ii) 2 years’ experience in a Govt. Department/ Undertaking preferred. 
    • Experience: Two years, preferably in a Government Department or Undertaking. A strong understanding and practice of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen.
