Indian Army Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for Indian Army:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a qualification recognised as equivalent from a recognized University.
- Service in NCC: Must have completed a minimum of two or three years of service (as applicable) in the Senior Division or Wing of the NCC.
- Grading: Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Applicants who are not holding NCC ‘C’ Cert or Provisional NCC ‘C’ Certificate on date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course. Candidates holding Provisional NCC ‘C’ Certificate on date of application are required to obtain NCC ‘C’ Certificate before appearing in SSB. PROVISIONAL NCC ‘C’ CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT SSB.
Age Limit for Indian Army:
- For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2027 (born not earlier than 02 Jan 2002 and not later than 01 Jan 2008 both dates inclusive).
