CIL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• General Manager (E8) – Renewables – 
  • Qualification: B.Tech / B.E/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in state/central power utilities (including power sector PSUs under Central/State Government)/ private power sector organizations. Out of this, minimum 3 years cumulative experience in the Renewable Energy sector in Project/Business Development/Regulatory Affairs/Commercial/Engineering during the last 10 years.
• General Manager (E8) – Civil (Thermal Power Projects) – 
  • Qualification: B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in state/central/private power utilities. Out of this, minimum 10 years’ experience in planning, construction and execution of power projects (greenfield/brownfield), including 2 years at senior managerial level.
• General Manager (E8) – Mechanical (Thermal Power Projects) – 
  • Qualification: B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in state/central/private power utilities. Out of this, minimum 10 years’ experience in execution of coal-based thermal power projects (500 MW unit or above), including 2 years at senior managerial level.
