Educational Qualification:
- Essential Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Sports Qualification (Individual and Team Event):
- International: The sportspersons who have participated or won medal(s) in an International Competition with the clearance of the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in the levels of competition in the past 2 calendar years commencing from 1st January of the relevant year till last date (i.e.-01/01/2024 till 01/11/2026) of submission of applications are eligible to apply
- National The sportspersons: who have represented a State/ U.T. in the Senior or Junior level National Championships organized by the National Sports Federations recognized by Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports or National Games organized by Indian Olympics Association and have won medals or positions upto 3rd place in the past 2 calendar years commencing from 1st January of the relevant year till last date (i.e.-01/01/2024 till 01/11/2026) of submission of applications are eligible to apply.
- Inter-University Competition: The sportspersons who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by Association of Indian Universities/ Inter University Sports Board or Khelo India University Games conducted with the authorization of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and have won medals or positions upto 3rd place in finals in the past 2 calendar years commencing from 1st January of the relevant year till last date (i.e.-01/01/2024 till 01/11/2026) of submission of applications are eligible to apply.
- Khelo India Games: The sportspersons who have represented a State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years) or Khelo India Winter Games conducted with the authorization of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and have won medals or positions upto 3rd place in finals in the past 2 calendar years commencing from 1st January of the relevant year till last date (i.e.-01/01/2024 till 01/11/2026) of submission of applications are eligible to apply.
