Indian Coast Guard has released the recruitment notification No: CGRHQ(WEST)/01/2026 to fill the 06 Store Keeper Grade II, Engine Driver, Lascar, Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade), MTS (Peon), MTS (Chowkidar) Posts. The application form should be downloaded in PDF format from the official website @ https://indiancoastguard.gov.in/. The last date for the receipt of Filled application along with all enclosures is 03.11.2026. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the Indian Coast Guard Group C notification and verify their eligibility. 

The official place of posting for all the 06 positions will be Mumbai. Eligible candidates possessing a 10th, 12th can apply exclusively via the Offline mode. Indian Coast Guard Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: 

• Store Keeper Grade II – 
  • Qualification: 12th Pass from an accredited Board or University 
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in handling stores from any recognized firm, Central/State Government organization, or Public Sector Undertaking
• Engine Driver – 
  • Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) from an accredited Board or equivalent. Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver from an accredited Government institute or equivalent. 
  • Experience: Desirable: 2 years of service as Sareng on a vessel of over 400 Boat Horse Power.
• Lascar – 
  • Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from an accredited Board. 
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in service on a boat.
• Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 
  • Qualification: 10th Standard Pass Valid driving licence for both Heavy and Light Motor Vehicles Knowledge of motor mechanism – should be able to rectify minor defects in vehicles.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving motor vehicles
• MTS (Peon) – 
  • Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent pass 
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience as an Office Attendant
• MTS (Chowkidar) – 
  • Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent pass 
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience as a Chowkidar in any recognized institution or organization

Age Limit: (As on 03.11.2026)

1. Store Keeper Gr 2 – 18 to 25 years
2. Engine Driver – 18 to 30 years
3. Lascar – 18 to 30 years
4. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (CMTD) (OG) – 18 to 27 years

• Complete the application form in either Hindi or English following the standard format provided in Annexure-I. A recent self-attested color photograph must be attached to the form, along with self-attested photocopies of all required documents featuring your name and date.
