Income Tax Department Delhi Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Tax Assistant –
-  Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent as on 31.08.2026.Â
- After appointment, candidates will have to pass the Skill Test which will require Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour within stipulated time, as mentioned in Appointment Order.
- Stenographer Grade ll –Â
- 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board as on 31.08.2026.
- After appointment, candidate will have to pass Stenography Skill Test [which will require Dictation Test: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription Test: 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on Computer)] within stipulated time, as mentioned in Appointment Order.
- Multi-Tasking staff –
- 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board as on 31.08.2026.
Sports Eligibility:
Appointment of sportspersons shall be made by taking into account their sporting achievements in competitions held between 01.01.2020 and 15.10.2026 in the Games mentioned in para 04, consistency of performance, age and educational qualifications. For the purpose of assessment of sporting achievements, the participation and performance of candidates in the following categories of sporting events shall be taken into consideration, in the following order of preference:
- Candidates who have represented the country in an International Competition with the clearance of the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in any of the games/sports for vacancies as mentioned in para 04 of this notification.
- Candidates who have represented a State/U.T in the Senior or Junior level national Championships organized by the National Sports Federations recognized by Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or National Games organized by Indian Olympics Association and have won medals or positions up to 3rd place in any of the games/sports for vacancies as mentioned para 04 of this notification. When evaluating applicants from Senior and Junior National Championships or games, priority will be accorded to those who competed and secured a medal in the Senior National Championship.
- Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by Association of Indian Universities/Inter University Sports Board Or Khelo India University Games conducted with authorization of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and have won medals or positions upto3rd place in finals in any of the games/sports for vacancies as mentioned in para 04 of this notification.Â
- Candidates who have represented a State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years) or Khelo India Winter Games or Khelo India Para Games conducted with authorization of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and have won medals or positions upto 3rd place in finals in any of the games/sports for vacancies as mentioned in para 04. of this notification.Â
- Candidates who have represented the State Schools in the National sports/games for Schools conducted by the All-India School Games Federation and have won medals or positions upto 3rd place in any of the games/sports for vacancies as mentioned in para 04 of this notification.Â
- Candidates who represented a State/Union Territory/University/State Schools Teams at the level mentioned in categories (ii) to (v) but could not win a medal or position.
