The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. 2026/24) to fill 10 Trade Apprentice vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai i.e. https://www.tifr.res.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 07.09.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 30.09.2026.

TIFR Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for TIFR:

1. Carpenter – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks, awarded by NCVT in Carpenter trade
2. Electrician – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks, awarded by NCVT in Electrician trade
3. Fitter – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks, awarded by NCVT in Fitter trade
4. Welder (G&E) – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks, awarded by NCVT in Welder (G&E) trade 
5. Painter – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks, awarded by NCVT in Painter trade
6. Machinist – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks awarded by NCVT in Machinist trade.
7. Turner – ITI – National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 60% marks awarded by NCVT in Turner trade.

1. Trade Apprentice – Below 28 Years
