The The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. NF/20 dated 21.05.2026) to fill 21 Non Teaching vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad i.e. https://www.iith.ac.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 21.05.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 20.07.2026.

IIT Hyderabad Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for IIT Hyderabad:

  1. Junior Engineer (Civil)
    • Essential Qualifications: i. BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). ii. Minimum 03(three) years of post-qualification experience in CPWD/State PWD, Centrally funded Institutions, or similar organized services/PSU, Statutory or Autonomous Organizations/Universities/reputed organisations under Central/State Government or equivalent experience in Private reputed National or International firms. 
  2. Junior Engineer (Electrical)
    • Essential Qualifications: (i) B.E./B.Tech./Equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 03(three) years of post-qualification relevant experience in any Central / State government organizations / Central PSU / State PSU /Central PWD / StatePWD / State / Central Engineering departments / Central or State Govt.undertakings / Central Govt. Autonomous Bodies / Institutions /Private firms of National and International repute. 
  3. Physical Training Instructor
    • Essential Qualifications: (i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institute, along with a bachelor’s degree in physical education (B.P.Ed) or Sports Science or its equivalent qualification, or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in physical education. (ii) Minimum 03(three) years of full-time post-qualification coaching experience in Cricket, Tennis/ Squash, Weightlifting from a recognised university/Institute /Government Autonomous Bodies. (iii) Medal winners/Participation in Senior National/Inter-university/Nationals / State/ medallist in Cricket/ Tennis/ Squash/ Weightlifting.
  4. Accountant
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: : (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Finance from a recognized University/Institute. (Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) / Qualified CA / ICWA may also be considered.) (ii) Minimum 02(two) years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, or reputed private organizations.
  5. Junior Technician (ArtificialIntelligence)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: : (i) Full-time BE/BTech in AI/CSE/EE/ECE/IT with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA from a recognized Institute/University. (ii) Minimum 2(two) years’ post-qualification experience in Linux system administration. 
    • Desirable: (i) Hands-on experience in the area of server management. (ii) Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  6. Junior Technician (BiomedicalEngineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: : The applicant should fulfill any one of the criteria mentioned below: Criteria-1 Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Biology/Pharmacy or allied field from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (OR) Criteria-2 (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences/Biology/Pharmacy or allied field from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 01(one) year of post-qualification experience in working in reputed Institution/Lab. 
  7. Junior Technician (Central Workshop)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: The applicant should fulfill any one of the criteria mentioned below: Criteria-1 (i) Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Mechatronics/Instrumentation or allied areas from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 03(three) years of post-qualification experience in operating CNC machines such as three-axis and/or five-axis machining centers, turning centers etc. The service certificate should clearly state that the candidate possesses at least three years of operational experience on CNC machines. 
  8. Junior Technician (Chemical Engineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: Criteria-1 BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (OR) Criteria-2 (i) 03 (three) years Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 02(two) years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas. 
  9. Junior Technician (Civil Engineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: Criteria-1 (i) B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 01(one) year of post-qualification experience in the field mentioned below under note. (OR) Criteria-2 (i) First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 03 (three) years of post-qualification experience in the field mentioned below under note. 
  10. Junior Technician (Computer Science and Engineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: (i) BTech/BE/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 02(two) years of post-qualification experience as a System Engineer
  11. Junior Technician (Electrical Engineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: Criteria-1 BTech/BE in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (OR) Criteria-2 (i) Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications. (iii) Candidates are required to have a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience following their qualification, specifically in the areas of instrumentation or systems & control..
  12. Junior Technician (Materials Science & Metallurgical Engineering)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: (i) 03 (three) years Diploma or above in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Engineering/ Material Science/Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 03(three) years of post qualification experience in the following fields:
  13. Junior Technician (Mathematics)
    • Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience: 
      • Criteria-1 (i) B.Sc. (Computer Science)/Bachelor of Computer Application from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 02(two) years of post-qualification experience in handling Computer Hardware, OS Installations, Printer driver installation, Basic Network troubleshooting and working experience in Windows, Linux, and MAC systems. (OR) 
      • Criteria-2 (i) B.E./BTech in AI/CSE/IT from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 01(one) year of post-qualification experience in handling Computer Hardware, OS Installations, Printer driver installation, Basic Network troubleshooting, and working experience in Windows, Linux, and MAC systems.
  14. Junior Technician (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering)

      • Criteria-2 (i) Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering /Robotics and Automation from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University). (ii) Minimum 05(five) years of post-qualification experience in the fabrication/design/ development/ repair and maintenance of electronic/robotic/automation systems 
  15. Junior Technician (Physics)
    • Essential: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics from a recognised University/Institution with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (or First Class as defined by the awarding Institute/University).
