VIT Admissions 2026-28: Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai. VITLEE is conducted on 03.05.2026  across India. VITLEE 2026 will be conducted on 03.05.2026 at designated centres across India. This B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) admission is strictly for 12th Students.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any accredited Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination. 
  • Intermediate or 02-years Pre-University examination conducted by a accredited Board/University 
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at Advanced (A) Level 
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University / Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK 
  • High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva 
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board

Selection Process:  

  • Admission is through merit, purely based on fulfilling the eligibility criteria with the qualifying examination 
  • The applicants will be called for an online Group Discussion and Personal Interview 
  • A selection list will be prepared on the basis of +2/HSC marks, CLAT/VITLEE Scores, performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview 
  • Provisional admission is subject to cancellation at any point of time if the candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility requirements

Scheme of Examination:

There will be a total of 100 questions divided into the section English (20 questions), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (20 questions), Logical Reasoning (20 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (20 questions), Legal Reasoning (20 questions). No negative marks for wrong answers. The question paper will only be available in English. Each question is followed by 4 Choices. The candidate should choose only once choice and submit the same
