The Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification to fill  Trade Apprentice, Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice Posts. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) i.e. https://www.cpcl.co.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 22.09.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 12.10.2026.

Eligible candidates with qualifications 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Any Degree, BE / B.Tech can apply online. Candidates should note that the primary Job locations for these posts are Chennai. CPCL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: 

1. Trade Apprentice (ITI Passed) – Matric with regular full time 2(Two) year ITI course recognized by NCVT/SCVT in the following trades. (Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Machinist, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant)
2. Designated Trade: Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) – Passed B.Sc., Chemistry with Physics, Mathematic or Biology.
3. Optional Trade: Guest House Service Asst. (Food and Beverages for canteen and Housekeeping) – 10th Std Pass
4. Graduate Apprentice: Non-Eng. Degree – BA / B. Com / BSc/ BCA / BBA Degree
5. Graduate Apprentice: Secretarial Office Assistant – Oil & Gas – Oil & Gas – Graduate in any discipline (NonEngineering)
6. Optional Trade: Executive (Human Resource) – Oil & Gas – MBA (HR) / MSW / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relation (2 years full time Course).
7. Graduate Apprentice: (Degree in Engineering) – Passed BE / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication / Instrumentation, Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology ,Fire & Safety and Environment Protection & Safety disciplines.
8. Technician Apprentice: (Diploma in Engineering) – Passed Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication / Instrumentation discipline
9. Trade Apprentice: Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice) – Class 12th passed but below Graduate
10. Trade Apprentice: Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) – Class 12th passed (but below graduate). Furthermore, applicants must hold a ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ Skill Certificate (for a course duration under one year) conferred by a recognized National Skill Qualifications Framework awarding entity or an equivalent Central Government-authorized body.

Note: Only those who have passed their final exams in 2022,2023,2024,2025 & 2026 are eligible to apply.

2. Designated Trade: Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) – Rs.12300/-
3. Optional Trade: Guest House Service Asst. (Food & Beverages for canteen & Housekeeping) – Rs.8,200/-
4. Graduate Apprentice: Non-Eng. Degree – Rs.12300/-
5. Graduate Apprentice: Secretarial Office Assistant – Oil & Gas – Oil & Gas – Rs.12300/-
6. Optional Trade: Executive (Human Resource) – Oil & Gas – Rs.12300/-
