TIFR Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for TIFR:
- Work Assistant (Auxiliary) –
- Education Qualification: (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent (Central/State Board Examinations). (b) A minimum of one year’s experience working in a reputable catering or canteen.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience: a) A minimum of one year’s certificate program in food and beverage service from an accredited hotel management school or a university or institution that is comparable. b) Minimum one year Experience in multitasking role (Commissary/F&B Service/Cosmetic Maintenance) in the Restaurants/ Canteen, Kitchen and/or Dining facilities of any Hotel (5 Star and above), Government/PSU/Autonomous/Private concern having strength of 200 staff.
- Work Assistant (Technical) [Fitter] –
- Education Qualification: (a) Passed S.S.C. OR Equivalent from a recognized Board. OR (a) National Trade Certificate (NTC) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in Fitter Trade.
- Experience: One year experience in the field as mentioned in the Job description.
- Project Scientific Assistant (B) –
- Education Qualification: (a) Full Time Science Graduate (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in Physics/Engineering Physics/Electronics/Radio-physics. OR (a) Full time Diploma in Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in Electronics/ Electrical/ ECE/ EEE/ Electronic Instrumentation/ Industrial Electronics/ Opto-electronics. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. (c) 0–2 years’ experience in analog and digital electronics, PCB designing, soldering.
- Desirable Qualification & Experience: Hands-on experience with analog and digital electronics, PCB Designing, circuit debugging, soldering, SMD soldering; operation of oscilloscopes, function generators, microcontrollers, FPGA, RF components; basic knowledge of precision electronics such as current controller for narrow-linewidth CW lasers, temperature controllers, PID feedback, laser frequency stabilization; familiarity with system integration and automation, LabVIEW; interest in operation of lasers and opto-electronics components in the quantum optics and ultracold atoms lab. Applicants with higher qualifications such as MSc, BTech, MTech etc. in a relevant discipline may also apply. Candidates with more experience may also apply.
- Project Tradesman (B) [Electrician] –
- Education Qualification: a) National Trade Certificate (NTC) (with aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in trade of Electrician. b) Two years’ experience in a relevant field. OR a) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) (with aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in trade of Electrician. b) One year experience in a relevant field.
- Essential Experience: Knowledge of operation and trouble shooting of Single/Three Phase supply systems. Operation and Troubleshooting of LT power distribution, LT electrical equipment and lighting circuits. Wiring installation i.e Laboratory wiring, Control Panel wiring. Knowledge of Electrical wiring and safety related standards.
- Project Physical Instructor –
- Education Qualification: (a) H.S.C./Degree in any discipline. (b) certification in first aid and CPR from a reputable, government-approved organization. (c) 1–2 years’ experience as GYM/Fitness instructor in a modern GYM with aerobic, weight/resistance and fitness training facilities. (d) Knowledge of demonstrating workout techniques, fitness plans and routines. (e) Knowledge of providing guidance on injury prevention and stretching. (f) Basic knowledge of fixing the GYM equipment.
- Desirable: (a) Good communication and motivational skills. (b) Ability to work with diverse populations (e.g. youngsters, middle aged, seniors, athletes, persons with disability & students). (c) Punctuality, reliability, honesty, hardworking, co-operative and team-oriented. willingness to adjust to shift responsibilities and obey supervisor instructions.
