Educational Qualification for PRC:
- Assistant Professor –
- Qualification: Qualifications as per latest UGC guidelines 2. Subject: Master’s Degree in Demography / Population Studies / Statistics I Biostatistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social Work I Psychology / Anthropology Geography from recognized Institution/University. 3. Persons with P.G. Degree other than Demography / Population Studies should have completed minimum one year regular course in Demography / Population Studies at recognized Institute/University
- Experience : As per the UGC Guidelines (UGC guidelines as revised from time to time may be adopted)
- Research Investigator –
- Qualification: At least 2nd class Post Graduate degree in Demography / Population Studies / experience collection Statistics / Social Work / Psychology Anthropology / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Geography from an Accredited Institution/University. Knowledge in Computer Applications.
- Experience : 3 years of experience in collection / analysis of data and report writing.(relaxable for candidates with higher qualifications).
- Field Investigator –
- Qualification: At least 2nd class post graduate degree in Demography / Population Studies / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Anthropology / Geography from a recognized Institution/University.
- Experience : some experience in collection / analysis of data.
- Research Fellow – II –
- Qualification: At least 2nd class Post Graduate Degree in Demography / Population Studies / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology from a recognized Institution / University in India established incorporated by or under a Central Act by the University of Grants Commissions.
- Experience : One year experience post qualification (i.e. after Post Graduation)
