National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting online Applications for National Common Entrance Test for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs and Government Colleges in India for the Academic Session 2026-27. The NCET 2026 is going to be conducted by NTA as per the Schedule given in the Information at a Glance for admission to Four Years Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) Courses.

Eligibility to Appear in NCET 2026:
Qualifications and Qualifying Examination Codes:
- 12th Class or equivalent examination
List of Qualifying Examinations (QE)
The following examinations are recognized as qualifying criteria for candidates:
- The final examination of the 10+2 system conducted by any recognized Central or State Board. This includes boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.
- An Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.
- The final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
- The Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by NIOS with a minimum of five subjects.
- Any Public School, Board, or University examination in India or a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- Candidates who completed Class 12 (or equivalent) outside India, or from a Board not listed above, must provide a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). This certificate must confirm that the examination passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.

- There is no age limit for the candidates.
