HBCSE Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for HBCSE:
- Scientific Officer (B) –
- Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) Full time Master’s degree in Science (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Physics / Applied Physics / Astrophysics / Electronics / Computer Science or other equivalent subjects. OR (a) Full time Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Computer / Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Aeronautical Engineering / Engineering Physics or other equivalent subjects. (b) Minimum 1 year post-qualification [as mentioned in point (a)] work in teaching / research / science outreach.
- Desirable qualification and Experience: (a) Strong background in Astrophysics (as demonstrated through academic projects and/or work experience) (b) Knowledge of Linux Operating System, Python / FORTRAN, and LaTeX
- Scientific Assistant (B) –
- Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) Full time Science Graduate i.e. B.Sc. / B.S. (in Physics) from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. (c) 0–2 years’ experience in the field of educational content development, teaching, education technology, education research and teacher training.
- Desirable qualification and Experience: (a) M.Sc. (in Physics or relevant disciplines) with an aggregate of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA (b) The candidate should have experience in teaching/ scientific writing/ development of educational activities. (c) Ability to work with rigorous physics and mathematical content at higher secondary and early undergraduate level. (d) Good proficiency in the English language and writing skills in English and/or any other Indian language. (e) Proficiency in programming languages like python, javascript etc. (f) Experience developing educational technology for aiding teaching and learning of physics. (g) Familiarity with physics education research and discipline based education research in general.
- Scientific Assistant (B) –
- Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) Full time Science Graduate i.e. B.Sc. from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Physics / Applied Physics. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications (c) Fresh graduates, without any work experience, may also apply.
- Desirable qualification: (a) M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics. (b) Experience or strong interest in developing either theoretical physics problems or physics experiments at the higher secondary and undergraduate levels. (c) Working knowledge of programming, preferably in python, for scientific analysis, simulation, or interfacing of experiments, along with exposure to AI-assisted tools for the same. (d) Familiarity with sensors, basic electronics, measurement techniques, data acquisition, calibration, and error/uncertainty analysis. (e) Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, careful documentation habits
- Assistant Security Officer (A) –
- Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) Graduate from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and with NCC (C) certificate OR (a) Graduate from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and with Advanced Civil Defence Course Certificate. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications. (c) 5 years’ experience in Security in Level 5 and above or with equivalent TME (total monthly emolument) and above in a large and reputed organization.
- Desirable qualification and Experience: (a) Experience in Safety and Fire management in a large and reputed Organization. (b) Experience of handling Services contracts.
- Work Assistant (Auxiliary) –
- Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) Passed S.S.C or Equivalent (Central/State Board Examination) (b) Minimum one-year experience as Peon/Attendant.
