Educational Qualification for HBCSE:

- Essential Qualification & Experience:
- Full Time Master’s degree in Science (from an accredited University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Physics / Applied Physics / Astrophysics / Electronics / Computer Science or other equivalent subjects. OR
- Full Time Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) (from an accredited University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Computer / Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Aeronautical Engineering / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics or other equivalent subjects. No minimum work experience necessary. Applications from freshers are also welcome.
- Desirable Qualification & Experience:
- Strong content background in Physics /Astrophysics (as demonstrated through academic records, projects and/or work experience)
- Proficiency in pedagogical or popular science writing in English as well as at least one Indian language.
- Knowledge of Linux Operating System, Python, LaTeX, and HTML.
- Knowledge of design packages such as Canva and/or Indesign.
- Experience in creating educational videos, including scripting, shooting, and editing.
- Proficiency in using AI tools in creative ways.
- Proficiency in social media content creation and engagement tracking.
- Post-qualification work experience of 6 months in teaching / science outreach.

- Essential Qualification & Experience:
- Full time B.Sc./ B.S. in any subject from an accredited University/ Institute with aggregate of Sixty Percentage marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
- 0 to 2 years’ post qualification experience as per the job description.
- Desirable Qualification & Experience:
- Proficiency in Marathi writing.
- Experience in writing articles and/or editing in Marathi. Alternatively, experience in journalism / inter-college elocution / Marathi theater / debating etc.
- Proficiency in typesetting in Devnagari script (unicode fonts – e.g. google indic fonts)
- Experience of using Canva or other equivalent softwares to create basic designs for flyers, leaflets, etc.
- Interest in science communication in Marathi.
- Digital Content Creation: Proficient in crafting educational social media content—including posts, reels, and video production—with a sharp design aesthetic and hands-on experience using industry-standard design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
