The Nuclear Fuel Complex has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. NFC/01/2026) to fill the 18 Scientific Officer (C) (General Duty Medical Officer), Nurse(A), Scientific Assistant(B) (Radiographer), Scientific Assistant (B) (Pathology Technician), Pharmacist (B), Technician(B) (X-ray Technician) Posts. Candidates may get the details of On-line Application, Detailed Advertisement, General Instructions and apply Online on the official Web-site of this Nuclear Fuel Complex i.e. https://www.nfc.gov.in/. The link for submission of On-line Application Form will remain active from 21.03.2026 at 10.00 AM to 18.04.2026 at 05.00 PM. 

Eligible candidates with qualifications DMLT, B.Sc.(MLT), DGNM, B.Sc.(Radiography), B.Sc.(Nursing), MBBS can apply online. Candidates should note that the primary Job locations for these posts are Hyderabad, Tuticorin, Rawatbhata. NFC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for NFC: 

  1. Scientific Officer (C) (General Duty Medical Officer) – M.B.B.S. from a recognized University with valid registration with Medical Council of India + Minimum 1 year after completion of M.B.B.S. Mandatory internship shall not be counted as experience.
  2. Nurse(A) – XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) OR B.Sc.(Nursing) OR Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years experience in Armed Force Hospital OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces. Note : Valid registration as Nurse from any Central / State Nursing Council of India is mandatory for all. 
  3. Scientific Assistant(B) (Radiographer) – Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Radiography) OR Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and 1 year Diploma in Radiography
  4. Scientific Assistant (B) (Pathology Technician) – B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks followed by post graduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc.(MLT) with minimum 60% marks. 
  5. Pharmacist (B) – HSC (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council  
  6. Technician(B) (X-ray Technician) – Minimum 60% in HSC (Science) and One year Medical Radiography / X-ray Technique Trade certificate from a recognized institution. 

Age Limit for NFC: (As on 18.04.2026)

  1. Scientific Officer (C) (General Duty Medical Officer) – 18 to 35 years
  2. Nurse(A) – 18 to 30 Years
  3. Scientific Assistant(B) (Radiographer) – 18 to 30 Years
  4. Scientific Assistant (B) (Pathology Technician) – 18 to 30 Years
  5. Pharmacist (B) – 18 to 25 Years
  6. Technician(B) (X-ray Technician) – 18 to 25 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

  • +5 Years for ST/SC  
  • +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • Persons with Disabilities candidate:
    • +10 Years for UR  
    • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
    • +15 Years for ST/SC

Pay Scale for NFC:

  1. Scientific Officer (C) (General Duty Medical Officer) – Rs. 56,100 in Level 10
  2. Nurse(A) – Rs.44,900/- in Level 7 
  3. Scientific Assistant(B) (Radiographer) – Rs.35,400/- in Level 6
  4. Scientific Assistant (B) (Pathology Technician) – Rs.35,400/- in Level 6
  5. Pharmacist (B) – Rs.29,200/- in Level 5
  6. Technician(B) (X-ray Technician) – Rs.21,700/- in Level 3 

Method of Selection for NFC:

  • Stage 1 – Preliminary Test 
  • Stage 2 – Advanced Test
  • Stage 3 – Skill Test
