The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. ARCI/HRD/Projects/2/2026) to fill 03 Project Scientists, Civil Engineer vacancies. ARCI Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for ARCI:

1. Project Scientist – I (Post Code : PS-001) – 
   1. Essential Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical/ Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. 
   2. Experience: 1-2 years’ R&D experience in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organizations in Li-ion/ Na-ion/Li-S batteries would be desirable
2. Project Scientist – I (Post Code : PS-002) – 
   1. Essential Qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Physics/Chemistry /Materials Science/Metallurgy/Ceramics from a recognized University or equivalent. 
   2. Experience: 1-2 years’ R&D experience in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organizations in solid oxide fuel cells and solid oxide electrolyzer cells development, oxide material processing, ceramic material development, ceramic powder synthesis, SOFC cell components development, electrochemical testing of SOFC single cells and stacks, simulation in SOFC’s would be desirable.
3. Civil Engineer (Post Code : CE-001) – 
   1. Essential Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech/ OR B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized University. 
   2. Experience: 3 years’ experience for candidates with M.Tech. OR 6 years’ experience for candidates with B.Tech. Experience shall be in Government organizations/research laboratories/ Academic Institutions/PSUs/CPWD/Private Ltd., Organizations* in the field of structural design, site development, construction management, project execution, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of civil engineering works. (*experience in Private Ltd. organizations will be considered valid only, if the candidate is covered under EPF Scheme).
   3. Skill set: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS project and/or any other relevant engineering softwares and tools.

Age Limit for ARCI: (As on 10.09.2026)

1. Project Scientist – I (Post Code : PS-001) – 55 years
2. Project Scientist – I (Post Code : PS-002) – 35 years
3. Civil Engineer (Post Code : CE-001) – 35 years
