NLC SME Operator Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As on)

Educational Qualification: Should have passed SSLC or X (10th Std) or its equivalent (or) ITI in Mechanical / Electrical Trade
Work Experience: Should have working Experience of minimum 05 years (as on crucial date) in Operation of Specialized Mining Equipment (SME) i.e. Bucket Wheel Excavator, Mobile Transfer Conveyor , Spreader, Tripper Car, Stacker & Reclaimer of Mines / Thermal Power Stations

Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2023)

The maximum age limit is 63 years as on crucial date in all cases. Relaxation in upper age limit above 63 years is not applicable for any category of candidates.

NLC SME Operator Selection Process 2023:

NLC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

NLC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Trade Apprentices
– PASAA – COPA (NTC/PNTC Certificate) For All Other Posts
– ITI in relevant Trade from NCVT/DGET,
2. Engineering Graduate Apprentices
• A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
• A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
• Graduate examination of Professional bodies (Full time) recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
3. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices –
• A Degree in respective discipline (Full time) granted by a Statutory University.
• A Degree in respective discipline (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
4. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices –
• A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
For Trade Apprentices – Candidate Age Must Attained 14 Years as on 01.04.2023
For Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices Posts:- – Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam in 2019 / 2020 / 2021 / 2022 & 2023.

Stipend:

1. Trade Apprentices – Rs. 10,019 /- Per Month (For Sl. No 1 to 11), Rs.8,766 /- Per Month (For Sl. No 12)
2. Engineering Graduate Apprentices – Rs.15,028 /-
3. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices – Rs.12,524 /-
4. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices – Rs.12,524 /-

c. Select the Trainees & Apprentices tab.

d. Click the appropriate Online Application link under Advt., No. L&DC.02/2023/PE. (The link will be available from 10.00 Hours on 07.08.2023 to 17.00 Hours on 16.08.2023.)

e. Complete the application form and take a print out of the registration form.

Preferable: Experience in above area in Coal / Lignite based Thermal Power Station with Individual Unit capacity of 500 MW or above preferably with experience in Super Critical units hands on Desk Operations.
2. Deputy General Manager (Mechanical) – Minimum Educational Qualification: Full time or Part-time Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Mechanical & Production / Industrial and Production Engineering / Production Engineering. Length of Post qualification experience: DGM (E-7 Grade) – 19 Years. Area of Post Qualification Experience: Out of Total 19 years post qualification Experience in Thermal Power Sector, minimum 5 years’ Experience in the area of Power Station Design /Construction /Erection /Commissioning/ Operation & Maintenance in Coal or Lignite based Thermal Power Stations with Individual Unit Capacity of 200 MW& above. Experience in the above mentioned area in CFBC Boilers of Individual Unit Capacity of 125 MW and above or in Individual Unit Capacity of 500MW Capacity or above including Super Critical Thermal Power Stations is preferable.
15. Executive Engineer (Chemical) – Minimum Educational Qualification: Full Time / Part-Time Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering. Length of Post qualification experience: EE (E-4 Grade) – 05 Years Area of Post Qualification Experience: In the area of R&D Experience / Analytical Experience in Chemistry in Fuel Laboratory / Water Laboratory and Water Treatment of Thermal Power Plant, Fuel Sampling, Lube Oil Analysis. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Super Critical Boilers Chemistry Operations, Experience in oxygenated water treatment and experience in desalination plant operations. The area of experience in analysis of Coal / Lignite is desirable.
16. Executive Engineer (Environmental Engineering) – Minimum Educational Qualification: Full time or Part-time Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering (or) Bachelor Degree in Energy & Environmental Engineering (or) Any Engineering Degree with PG Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science & Technology from a recognised University /Institute. Length of Post qualification experience: EE (E-4 Grade) – 05 Years Area of Post qualification experience: Experience in Thermal power plant or Any State / Central Pollution Control Board/ Consultancy Services and looking after environmental aspects/EIA Reporting and drafting, Handling Statutory/Non-Statutory Compliances, Prepare, review & update environmental investigation reports/knowledge of current Environmental rules & regulation of MoC, MoEF&CC and its compliance.

Executive Engineer (Environmental Engineering) – Minimum Educational Qualification: Full time or Part-time Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering (or) Bachelor Degree in Energy & Environmental Engineering (or) Any Engineering Degree with PG Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science & Technology from a recognised University /Institute. The incumbent should possess thorough knowledge of matters pertaining to institutional Finance, Company Law, Corporate and Secretarial functions. The candidate should be well versed with the provisions and regulations of Company Act and SEBI rules & regulations. The candidate should have experience of handling Board matters such as organizing Board meetings, presentation of Board memoranda/agendas. NLC Executive Selection Process 2023:

–  Selection will be based on Personal Interview. – The minimum qualifying marks in the personal interview shall be 50% of prescribed score for UR / EWS candidates and 40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates against the reserved posts. Relaxation in minimum qualifying marks shall not apply for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates considered under UR category. – The final selection of candidates shall be in the order of merit based on the marks scored by the candidates in the Personal Interview, subject to scoring the minimum qualifying marks prescribed, ensuring due reservation. – In case of higher response for any particular post, management reserves the right to conduct Screening Test.
