Educational Qualification for UPSC:
- Airworthiness Officer
- Essential Qualification: (i) Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Aircraft Maintenance or Engineering Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication from a recognized University; and (ii) Possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s (AME) License endorsed in either of the Categories B1 or B2 issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Note: Person holding Engineering Degree in Aeronautical may be considered without possessing a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s (AME) License.
- Experience: Minimum Three (03) years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience

- Essential Qualification: Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
- Experience: Three years’ Experience in Chemical works or in manufacture and handling of explosives and/or in compressed gases and/or refining of Petroleum.

- Essential Qualification: (i) Bachelor of Engineering /Bachelor of Technology in mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. (ii) Three years’ Experience, in operation of Motor Transport Traffic in a Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/Commercial Organization listed on the stock exchange(s) of India.
