RBI Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for RBI: (As on 01.02.2026)
- Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ –
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University / College/ Institution recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years. For SC/ST and PwBD candidates minimum required marks shall be 45% in Bachelor’s degree in Law in the aggregate of all semesters/years, against vacancies reserved for such candidates.
- Experience: 1. Enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate. 2. At least Minimum 02 years’ experience after being enrolled: (i) As an Advocate or (ii) After enrolling in the Bar Council, one could work as a law officer in the legal department of a large bank, financial institution, statutory corporation, business, state or federal government, or (iii) as a full-time instructor at a law college or university.
- Desirable: unique understanding of labor law, banking law, company law, and constitutional law, as well as expertise in preparing documents and briefs.
- Manager (Technical-Civil) in Grade ‘B’ –
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST, if vacancies are reserved for them) or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in concerned field after UG (in a position of independent responsibility) in a public/private Ltd organization, including Hospitals /Banks/ Financial Institutions /Planning/ Designing/Construction/Large Office Buildings/ Multistoried Buildings/ Housing Companies / residential campus based educational institutions and having experience in preparation and evaluation of tender.
- Desirable: (i) Experience in maintenance of Office and Residential properties/ colonies. (ii) knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques and experience managing construction projects in all their facets. (iii) computer proficiency in structural design using CAM, CAD, MS Project, or Primavera, as well as the assessment and analysis of tenders with specific references. (iv) Working knowledge in structural rehabilitation works. (v) Experience in Construction and Project Management. (vi) Ability to work in a computerized environment.
- Manager (Technical-Electrical) in Grade ‘B’ –
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST, if vacancies are reserved for them) or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience after graduation in concerned field (in a position of independent responsibility) in a public/private limited organization, including Hospitals/ Banks/ Financial Institutions/ residential campus based educational institutions in planning/ designing/ execution of internal and external electrical installation work, large central air conditioning plant, lift, communication systems and other associated services involved in large, multistorey building projects including preparation, scrutiny and evaluation of tenders.
- Desirable: (i) Working knowledge of electronic systems like CCTV surveillance systems, Addressable Security Alarm and Fire Alarm systems, EPABX, UPS system, etc. (ii) Experience in air conditioning plant, pump, and lift maintenance, etc. (iii) knowledge of MS Project or Primavera/PERT/CPM methodologies and experience managing construction projects in all their facets. (iv) Ability to work in a computerized environment.
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade ‘A’ and –
- Educational Qualification: (i) Second Class Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the bachelor’s degree level; OR (ii) Second Class Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the bachelor’s degree level along with PG diploma in translation; OR (iii) A Post Graduate diploma in translation and a second-class Master degree in Sanskrit, economics, and commerce with English and Hindi as bachelor’s degree subjects. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at bachelor’s degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree); OR (iv) Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/ Hindi Translation, of which one must be 2nd Class.
- Desirable: Knowledge of bi-lingual word processing.
- AM (Protocol and Security) in Grade ‘A’ –
- Experience: The Applicant should be an Officer with a minimum of 10 years (05 years in case of PwBD Applicants) of Commissioned Service in the regular Army/Navy/Air Force holding a valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
Age Limit for RBI: (As on 01.02.2026)
- Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ –
- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on February 01, 2026.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than February 02, 1994 and not later than February 01, 2005.
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in case of candidates possessing LL.M. degree and 5 years in the case of candidates possessing Ph.D in Law.
- Manager (Technical-Civil) in Grade ‘B’ –
- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on February 01, 2026.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than February 02, 1991 and not later than February 01, 2005.
- Manager (Technical-Electrical) in Grade ‘B’ –
- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on February 01, 2026.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than February 02, 1991 and not later than February 01, 2005.
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade ‘A’ and –
- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on February 01, 2026.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than February 02, 1996 and not later than February 01, 2005.
