UPSC System Analyst Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
1. System Analyst – (A) Educational: Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. (Computer Science or Information Technology) from a recognized University or Institute OR B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute. (B) Experience: Three years’ post qualification experience in Programming or Information Technology in a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or Statutory Body or in any recognized Institution. |
2. Post Graduate Teacher (Bengali) – Educational: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from recognized university in the relevant subject i.e. Bengali. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard. |
3. Post Graduate Teacher (Chemistry) – Educational: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from recognized university in the relevant subject i.e. Chemistry. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard. |
4. Post Graduate Teacher (English) – Educational: (i) Master Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University in the relevant subject i.e. English. (ii) Bachelor of Education from a recognized University or Institute and (iii) Studied Bengali as a subject up to 10th standard |

8. Assistant Professor (Bengali) – Educational: (A) (i) Master’s Degree (Bengali) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned/ relevant/allied subject from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Bengali) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (Bengali) in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing ordinances/Bye- Laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the Degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:- a) Ph.D Degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode; b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by atleast two external examiners; c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal; e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conference/seminars, sponsored /funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. The fulfillment of the conditions (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned OR (B) Ph.D. Degree from a foreign University/Institution |
9. Application Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC System Analyst:
(a) Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. |
