Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent Educational qualification.

Age Limit:

Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 01.08. 2024, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.2003

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Candidates – 5 years

2. Scientist-B (Physical-Civil) –
Educational:
(A) (i) Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute; and
(ii) One year practical experience in the testing/ evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute OR (B)
(i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and
ii) Two years’ practical experience in the testing/evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognized Laboratory/Institute.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable:
(i) Research and Development experience in testing and evaluation techniques/ Non Destructive Testing techniques, material science, quality control, standardization and calibration.

3. Administrative Officer Grade-I –

Educational: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University or Institute.

(A) Educational: Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act.

Experience: Five Years’ service at Sea of which One year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.

Educational:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:  

1. Assistant Director (Communication, Navigation & Surveillance)
(A) EDUCATIONAL: Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Electrical from a recognized University or Institution.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Total combined Five years experience in all the following fields taken together:- (a) Working experience in Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems which may include Satellite Communication Systems; (b) Experience in regulatory audits/ technical audits/ quality audits pertaining to Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems; (c) Maintenance and inspection of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Systems.
2. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Endocrinology) –
(A) EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctorate of Medicine(Endocrinology); or Diplomate National Board ( Endocrinology); or Doctor of Medicine(Medicine/Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Endocrinology; or Diplomate National Board(Medicine/Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Endocrinology.
(B) EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
3. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Pulmonary Medicine) –
(A) EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (B) EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree
4. Assistant Architect –
EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Architecture from a recognized University or Institution and registered with Council of Architecture as Architect.
5. Driller-in-Charge –
(A) EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering/Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government; (ii) One year experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs OR (i) Diploma in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical /Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government (ii) Five years experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs;
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
6. Engineer & Ship Surveyor Cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) –
(A) EDUCATIONAL: Certificate of Competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act. 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in Section 86 of the said Act.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Five years service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
(C) DESIRABLE: One year experience in survey and inspection of merchant ship and one year experience in survey, inspection and examination of merchant ship.
7. Ship Surveyor-Cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) –
(A) EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized University.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Eight years practical experience in design, construction, survey and repairs of ship carried out in ship building or ship repairing yards or any design or survey organization after the period of degree course.

Age Limit:

1. Assistant Director (Communication, Navigation & Surveillance) – 40 years
2. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Endocrinology) – 40 years
3. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Pulmonary Medicine) – 40 years

UPSC Foreman Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Dangerous Goods Inspector
Educational:
(i) Degree in any discipline
(ii) Having undergone a Category-6 Dangerous Goods Training course duly approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Experience: Total experience of seven years i.e. (i) Two years experience as Dangerous Goods Instructor of a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and (ii) Five years experience in handling air cargo in scheduled operations.
2. Foreman (Chemical) –
Educational: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization OR Master’s Degree in Chemistry from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Chemical plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
3. Foreman (Metallurgy) –
Educational: Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Metallurgical (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) OR Associate Member of Indian Institute of Metals (AMIIM) in the relevant field i.e. Metallurgical. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
Experience: One year experience in relevant field i.e. Metallurgy from a recognized organization.
4. Foreman (Textile) –

8. Unani Physician –
 Educational:
(i) Bachelors degree in Unani Medicine from a recognized University or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 (14 of 2020).
(ii) Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.

2. Stage-II : Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Conventional Type Papers)

Application Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC Geo-Scientist: 

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only), alongwith the submission of On-line Application Form, either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank. Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. “Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated at 11:59 p.m. of 09.10.2023 i.e. one day before the closing date of submission of application; however applicants who have generated their Pay-in- Slip before it is deactivated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date.

(ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Bengali) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (Bengali) in accordance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11,2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing ordinances/Bye- Laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the Degree and such Ph.D.
candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-
a) Ph.D Degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode;

Educational Qualification:  

(a) obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
(b) passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
(c) obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or
(d) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
(e) passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
(f) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959 Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Group ‘A’ may possess any of the above qualifications or the qualification mentioned below namely:-
For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts) – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.

3. Deputy Director(Plg./Stat.) –

Essential Qualifications:
Educational: Masters degree in Post-Harvest Technology or Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology from a recognized University or Institute with National Eligibility Test qualification.

Essential Qualifications:
