- M.A., Tamil – Pass in any Bachelor Degree with 4 papers in part I – Tamil
- M.A., English – Pass in B.A. English
- M.A. History – Pass in any Degree
- M.A. Sociology – Pass in any Degree
- M.A. Economics – Any graduate with Economics/ Econometrics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Economics /Commerce/Manage ment as one of the papers
- M.A. Archaeology – Pass in any Degree
- MA – Journalism & Mass Communication – Any degree in Arts/Science
- M .Com. – A Graduate in Commerce, B.Com (Computer Applications), B.Com (Information Technology), B.Com (Finance), B.Com (Banking and Insurance), B.Com (International Business), B.Com (Accounting and Taxation), B.Com (E-Commerce), B.Com (Cost and Management Accounting), B.Com (Financial System), B.Com (Foreign Trade)
- M. P. Ed., – a) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent with atleast 50% marks. b) A minimum inter collegiate level participation in sports and games is compulsory. c) The candidate should be medically fit and free from any deformity. d)Pregnant women are not permitted either for admission or to undergo the Programme. If violated, they will not be permitted to continue the Programme
- M.Ed. – B.Ed. / B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed / B.El.Ed with 50% marks or an equivalent grade
- M. Sc. Mathematics – B.Sc. Mathematics with 50% marks.
- M. Sc. Statistics – A Candidate who has passed (i) B.Sc. Degree with Statistics/ Data Science// Data Analytics/Bio – Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/ Actuarial Statistics/Medical Statistics as main subject or (ii)B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics / Computer Science /Information Technology and Statistics as a core/allied/ancillary course with 45% marks (40% in the case of SC/ ST) in aggregate in Part III shall be permitted to join.

Computer Technology or B.C.A obtained from any UGC recognized University or any other degree accepted by the Syndicate of M.S. University as equivalent in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 50% marks or above (45% marks or above for the SC/ST category) in Part III of the qualifying UG degree examinations are eligible to apply for the programme

- M.Sc. Nano Science – A candidate shall be eligible for admission to Nano science (M.Sc) Programme if he/she has obtained Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc, Nano science, Chemistry, Physics, Nano Science and Nanotechnology, Life Sciences, Wild Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Advanced Zoology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacy) an equivalent degree recognized by our university with a minimum of fifty percent (50%) marks
