Indian Army Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for Indian Army:
- Agniveer (General Duty) –
- Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% (Forty Five) marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% (Thirty Three) Marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following the grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered.
- Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass.
- Note: Applicants with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License / Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
- Agniveer (Technical) –
- 10+2/Intermediate/HSC Exam passed in Science with Physics, Maths and English with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate. OR
- 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Maths & English from any accredited State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI courses of one year in any field with NSQF level 4 (Four) or above. OR
- Passed 02 years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from Education Board accredited by Central/State/UT Government with 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate. The field for vocational subjects (NEP 2020) to be related to Science and Tech as mentioned below
