HPCL has released the recruitment notification to fill the 612 Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Engineering [Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Instrumentation] Posts. This online facility will be available on the Official website @ https://www.hindustanpetroleum.com/ from 16.02.2026 to 02.03.2026. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the HPCL Apprentice 2026 notification and verify their eligibility.

HPCL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for HPCL: 

  • Engineering Graduation in [Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation] 
  • Candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NC must have 60% aggregate whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH/MD) must have 50% aggregate marks in all years/semesters in the qualifying examination.
  • Engineering Graduates in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation streams who have completed Engineering Graduation after 01.04.2023 onwards are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed engineering prior to 01.04.2023 are not eligible for apprenticeship training.

Age Limit for HPCL: (As on 02.03.2026)

  • For UR Applicants: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

  • For SC/ ST Applicants: +5 years
  • For OBC Applicants: +3 years 
  • For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: +10 years 
  • For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: +15 years 
  • For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: +13 years 
  • For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

Pay Scale for HPCL:

  • Graduate Apprentice Trainees Engineering – Rs.25000/-
