BEML Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for BEML:

  1. Chief General Manager (Gr. IX) (Finance) 
    • Qualification: CA/ CMA/ two years Full Time First Class Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance (with Finance as core subject) from a recognised institution.
    • Post Qualification Experience: 21 Years 
  2. General Manager (Gr. VIII) (Finance)
    • Qualification: CA/ CMA/ two years Full Time First Class Master of Business Administration (MBA)in Finance (with Finance as core subject) from a recognised institution.
    • Post Qualification Experience: 19 Years
  3. Chief General Manager (Gr. IX) (HR)
    • Qualification: Two years full time First Class – PG Degree / PG Diploma in Personnel management / Human Resource Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) (with HR as Major) / PG Diploma in HR / IR / MSW / MA (Social Work with HR/IR / Personnel Management) from an Accredited university /institution.
    • Desirable: A Graduate in Law will be an added advantage.
    • Post Qualification Experience: 21 Years
  4. General Manager (Gr. VIII) (HR)
    • Qualification: Two years full time First Class – PG Degree / PG Diploma in Personnel management / Human Resource Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) (with HR as Major) / PG Diploma in HR / IR / MSW / MA (Social Work with HR/IR / Personnel Management) from an Accredited university /institution. Desirable: A Graduate in Law will be an added advantage.
    • Desirable: Having a law degree will be beneficial.

  5. Chief General Manager (Gr-IX) (Rolling stock Manufacturing)
    • Qualification:  First Class Degree in Engineering from an Accredited University / Institution. PG Degree/ PG Diploma in Engineering or Management will be advantageous.Having a project management certification will be beneficial.
    • Post Qualification Experience:  21 Years
  6. General Manager (Gr. VIII) (Metro Business Development)
    • Qualification:  First Class Degree in engineering (full time) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Transportation from an Accredited University / Institution. MBA will be an advantage

  7. Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII) (Electronics Aerospace)
    • Qualification:  First Class Degree in engineering (full time) in Electronics from an Accredited University / Institution.

    • Post Qualification Experience: 4- 8 years

  1. Assistant Manager Grade – III – 30 Years
  2. Manager Grade – IV – 34 years
  3. Dy. General Manager Grade – VII – 45 years
  4. General Manager Grade – VIII – 48 years
  5. Chief General Manager Grade – IX – 51 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

  • For SC/ ST Applicants: +5 years
  • For OBC Applicants: +3 years 
  • For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: +10 years 
  • For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: +15 years 
  • For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: +13 years

Pay Scale for BEML:

  1. Assistant Manager Grade – III – Rs.50,000 – 1,60,000/-
  2. Manager Grade – IV – Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000/-
  3. Dy. General Manager Grade – VII – Rs.90,000 – 2,40,000/-
  4. General Manager Grade – VIII – Rs.1,00,000 – 2,60,000/-
  5. Chief General Manager Grade – IX – Rs.1,20,000 – 2,80,000/-
