CMRL DMRC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for CMRL DMRC: 

1. Supervisor (Operations) –
   • Three years regular Diploma in any field of Engineering, having passed out from a Government Polytechnic or Government Aided Polytechnic, of the State of Tamil Nadu.
2. Supervisor (Maintenance) – 
   • Three years Regular Engineering Diploma in Civil stream, having passed out from a Government Polytechnic or Government Aided Polytechnic, of the State of Tamil Nadu /
   • Three years Regular Engineering Diploma in Electrical stream, having passed out from a Government Polytechnic or Government Aided Polytechnic, of the State of Tamil Nadu /
   • Three years Regular Engineering Diploma in Electronics & Communications, Electronics, Computer Engg., IT, Electronics & Communications Industry Integrated, Electronics / Microprocessor, Electronics & Telecommunications, Instrumentation Technology, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation Engg., having passed out from a Government Polytechnic Government Aided Polytechnic, of the State of Tamil Nadu /
   • Three years Regular Engineering Diploma in Mechanical stream, having passed out from a Government Polytechnic or Government Aided Polytechnic, of the State of Tamil Nadu.

Note:

• The Diploma in the relevant discipline will be required, as given in the table above, for Operations and Maintenance Departments.The diploma must have a minimum total Marks of at least 60%.The candidates must be passed out from Govt. Polytechnic / Govt. aided Polytechnic. 
• Candidates passed out from Private Polytechnic shall not be entertained.

Age Limit for CMRL DMRC: (As on 01.10.2025)

1. Supervisor (Operations) – 18 – 33 years
2. Supervisor (Maintenance) – 18 – 33 years
