Bank of India Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for Bank of India: (As on 20.07.2026)

  1. Credit Officer – MMGS-II  – 
    • Educational Qualifications: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from recognized University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD) recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government OR CA/CMA-ICWA/CS/CFA
    • Other Preferred Qualification/ Certification: 2 Years Post-Graduation Degree in Commerce/ Banking/ Finance/ Management/ Marketing or any other Credit related filed from any Govt. recognized/ Approved university/ Institution OR MBA/ PGDBM/ CA/ CFA/ CMAICWA. Any Certified Credit Professional course in Trade Finance/ MSME from IIBF/ Moody’s/ any other Govt. approved recognized University/ Institution. 
    • Work Experience: Minimum Three years’ post qualification experience as an officer out of which Two years’ experience should be in processing of Financial Institutions/ MSME/ Mid & Large Credit in Scheduled Commercial Banks /Commercial Credit /  Project Finance / NBFC. 
  2. Credit Officer – MMGS-III – 
    • Educational Qualifications: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from recognized a University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD) recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government OR CA/ CMA-ICWA/ CS/ CFA
    • Other Preferred Qualification/ Certification: 2 Years Post-Graduation Degree in Commerce/ Banking/ Finance/ Management/ Marketing or any other Credit related filed from any Govt. recognized/ Approved university/ Institution OR MBA/ PGDBM/ CA/ CFA/ CMAICWA. Any Certified Credit Professional course in Trade Finance/ MSME from IIBF/ Moody’s/ any other Govt. approved recognized University/ Institution. 
    • Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience as an officer out of which 3 years’ experience should be in processing of MSME/ Mid & Large Credit in Scheduled Commercial Banks /Commercial Credit /  Project Finance /Financial Institutions/ NBFC. 
  3. Credit Officer – SMGS-IV – 
    • Educational Qualifications: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University/ Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD) recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government OR CA/ CMA-ICWA/ CS/ CFA.  
    • Other Preferred Qualification/ Certification:  2 Years Post-Graduation Degree in Commerce/ Banking/ Finance/ Management/ Marketing or any other Credit related filed from any Govt. recognized/ Approved university/ Institution OR MBA/ PGDBM/ CA/ CFA/ CMAICWA. Any Certified Credit Professional course in Trade Finance/ MSME from IIBF/ Moody’s/ any other Govt. approved recognized University/ Institution. 
    • Work Experience: Minimum 7 years’ post qualification experience as an officer out of which 4 years’ experience should be in processing of MSME/ Mid & Large Credit in Scheduled Commercial Banks /Commercial Credit /  Project Finance /Financial Institutions/ NBFC. 

Age Limit for Bank of India: (As on 01.06.2026)

  1. MMGS-II (Scale-II)  – Minimum 25 Years, Maximum 32 Years
  2. MMGS-III (Scale-III) – Minimum 28 Years, Maximum 38 Years
  3. SMGS-IV (Scale-IV) – Minimum 32 Years, Maximum 45 Years
