Educational Qualification for UPSC:
- Indian Economic Service – Post Graduate in Business Economics/ Economics/ Applied Economics/ Econometrics
- Indian Statistical Service – Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics.

- Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 01.08.2026 i.e. He or she must have been born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2005.
