Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Senior Scientist and Head – Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8years’ experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-3of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay ofRs.5400/Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/ Rs.8000having made contribution to research/teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. Essential qualifications a. For disciplines other than Engineering subject: Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic science with 8years experiences in relevant subject Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent having made contribution to research/ teaching/extension as evidence by published work/ innovations and impact. (Or) b. For Engineering disciplines: Doctoral degree in relevant Agri culture engineering subject with 6 years experiences as Scientist/ Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact(Or) c. Master degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 10 years experiences as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position having made contribution to research/teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact. Desirable: Specialization in implementing extension education programmers. |
| 2. Stenographer (Grade-III) – Essential: 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University. Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Tamil at 80 w.p.m. for 10minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 Minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Tamil will be required to transcribe the matter 65 minutes on computer. Short Hand is desirable. |
