The discipline wise details of vacancies are as under:-
Eligibility Criteria:
| Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or institute. Sports qualification: (i) Players who have represented in any recognized International events representing the country. Or (ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship Or (iii) Players represented a University in an Inter-University competition. Or (iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools. Or (v) Players awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National physical efficiency Drive. Note: Sports qualification will be taken on consideration of the participation/achievements by the candidates in the past 02 years (cut off date for determining the eligibility criteria is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News) only. |
Age Limit: (As on 20.11.2023)
| Between 18 to 23 years as on 20.11.2023. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SSB official Notification 2023 for more reference |
Salary Details: The post will carry Pay Matrix Rs.21700-69100/- (Level-3) as per 7th CPC and other allowances as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions. The selected candidates for the post of CT (GD) under Sports Quota will be governed under Contribution Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme).
Selection Process:
The selection process will be conducted following 02(two) stages:-
a) Stage-I for candidates with International participation/medal winners and National medal winner’s upto 3rd place.

– Review Medical Examination (DME)

b) Stage-II the second stage of recruitment will be conducted for other eligible candidates, if vacancies remained unfilled after selection of candidates having medals/participations in International and medals winners in national competitions upto 3rd place.

Application Fee:
Unreserved, EWS and OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred) only being fees (non-refundable) through online mode. However, SC/ ST & Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
