NIRT Chennai invites Online applications for the recruitment of 17 Project Driver – Mechanic, Senior Project Assistant (UDC) Posts. This online facility will be available in the Official website @ https://www.nirt.res.in/from 17.02.2024 to 26.02.2024. Before applying for the recruitment, candidates must carefully read the NIRT Chennai Project Driver – Mechanic 2024 notification and ensure their eligibility.

Project Driver – Mechanic –

– Matric/S.S.C or equivalent from a recognized board with validdriving license issued by RTO of any State

– And authorized to drive Light Motor Vehicle (Goods &Passenger) and Two-wheeler with/without gear

– And two years’ experience in recognized organization/Institute.

Preference will be given to those who have license other than aboveto drive Heavy Motor Vehicle (Goods & passenger) and Three Wheelers (Auto Rickshaw).

Senior Project Assistant (UDC) –

12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years’ experience of administrative work.

Graduate in any discipline with 2 years’ experience of administration work.

AND

A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph)on computer.

Age Limit:

Project Driver – Mechanic – Not exceeding 25 years.
Senior Project Assistant (UDC) – Not exceeding 28 years.

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Candidates – 5 years
For OBC Candidates – 3 years

Applicants Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Norms.

Salary Details:

Project Driver – Mechanic – Rs.16,000/- p.m. + HRA as admissible
Senior Project Assistant (UDC) – Rs.17,000/- p.m

All the Candidates should fill the application form in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the following websites www.nirt.res.in, www.icmr.nic.in. Affix a color passport size photograph on the application form. Attach self-attested copies of all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age, caste/community, Aadhar Card.
For walk-in selection: Candidates should bring the filled application along with photocopies of all the certificates to ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai – 600031 on the date and time mentioned above. Original Certificates of all these credentials should also be carried for verification.
