Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Faculty Member (Non-Life) on Contract – Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: • Graduate / post-graduate in any general stream, Management, Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Horticulture. • Associate / Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India or equivalent. Professional/Work Experience: Minimum 25 years working experience in GIPSA Companies, AICIL, GIC Re or private insurance companies and must have worked in operational area & /or technical area and retired from Scale V, VI or VII cadres or similar positions in private insurance companies. Interest/Attributes: • Interest and demonstrated evidence in training/teaching/research/ and project works. • candidates must have a flair for Academic work |
| 2. Assistant Professor (IT) – Minimum Qualifications & Experience: • Ph.D. in the relevant academic area is mandatory, with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in Master’s Degree, with a consistently good academic record. • Minimum three years of post – Ph.D. teaching / research / industrial experience. • Candidates from Industry (Govt./ PSU/ Research Organization) having relevant experience of at least 3 years at the level equivalent to Asst. Professor and fulfilling the above-mentioned requirements, may also apply. • Minimum 2 research papers in “B Category Journals” or minimum 1 research paper in “A Category Journals” in relevant area. |
| 3. Jr. Engineer – Minimum Qualifications & Experience: • B.E / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Electrical field. |
| 4. Librarian – Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or Equivalent professional degree with at least First Class or equivalent and consistently good academic record with knowledge of Modern Digital library. Desirable Qualification: • Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or another equivalent test as approved by the UGC. • Knowledge of library software and open source software is desired. Experience: • Minimum 10 years’ experience of working in similar cadre. • Working experience in educational institute library will be preferred |
