Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Research Associate – I – Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph. D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Desirable Experience: Experience in molecular biology (PCR, Cloning, protein expression, western blotting, Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridisation, Immuno-precipitation, cell fractionation), bioinformatics and/or RNA biology (In-vitro transcription/translation, RNA FISH, RNA pull down). |
| 2. Research Associate – I – Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph. D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Desirable Experience: Candidate should have some experience with the following techniques, as evidenced by at least one first author publication in a peer-reviewed national and international journal. ✓ Cell culture handling and subcellular fractionation of organelles ✓ HPLC, protein purification using Affinity & gel-exclusion chromatography ✓ Antibody generation in Rabbit and Isolation & purification of IgG ✓ In-vivo and In-vitro protein-protein interaction and western blotting ✓ Confocal microscopy, Gene cloning and RT-PCR |

| 12. Project Associate – I – Essential Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable Experience: Candidate having some experience in some of these techniques (cloning, protein expression and purification, immunoprecipitation, live imaging, handling cell cultures for S2/Sf9 and mammalian cells, fly genetics) will be preferred. The candidate needs to be confident about working independently, and have good writing and communication skills and habit of following scientific literature. It is important to be interested in phase separation of proteins in transcription regulation and is expected to read about it. Due to the nature of this project the candidate most importantly needs to commit for the entire duration of the project. |

Salary Details:
| 1. Research Associate – I – Rs. 47000 + HRA |
| 2. Project Associate – II – Rs. 35,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 28000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above. |
| 3. Senior Research Fellow – *Rs. 35000 /- + HRA for those who meet the above essential qualifications. ** Rs. 31000/- + HRA for those who meet the essential qualifications but do not have 2 years of research experience. |

Interested and eligible candidates possessing the aforementioned Essential Qualification only may appear for Walk-in-Interview in the Institute with all Original and self-attested copies of all certificate/testimonials and valid identity proof (Voter ID card/ PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) and one passport size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Interview without the Original Certificates.
