Indian Army DG EME Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification for Indian Army DG EME:
- Vehicle Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (Skilled) –
- Essential:- ITI certificate from an accredited Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel or ESM from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade
- Desirable qualification:- The National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades certificate is issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s Directorate General of Employment and Training.
- Electrician –
- Essential:- ITI certificate from an accredited Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel or ESM from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
- Desirable qualification:- The National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades certificate is issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s Directorate General of Employment and Training.
- Fitter –
- Essential:- ITI certificate from an accredited Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel or ESM from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade

- Pass in 12th class from an accredited Board or University.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of Five key depressions for each word)
