- M.A. Sociology / Social Work* with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading is followed) with UGC – NET or SLET or Ph.D. in Sociology of Media / Sociology of Health / Sociology of Development.
- Specialization: Marginalised Communities / Media Studies / Development Studies / Rural Sociology
