BPCL Junior Executive Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Executive (Engineering)
Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications: Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering (3-year course) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
NOTE: Please refer to the table below for the List of relevant Diploma in Engineering disciplines eligible to apply. No allied disciplines/ streams of Diploma in Engg other than the ones explicitly mentioned below are allowed

Essential Work Experience (as on 01.09.2023): 1. Minimum 5 years of continuous post-qualification relevant workexperience (including minimum 2 years in managerial / supervisory role) in: A. Operations / Maintenance/ Project roles in a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization within India in the following plants: i. POL Terminal / Depot/ Installation having more than 25,000 KL storage capacity OR ii. OISD -144 Compliant LPG Bottling Plant OR iii. Cross-country (at least 50 km) POL / LPG Pipeline OR iv. Bulk LPG/ POL Coastal Import Terminal OR v. Commercial/ Defense Aviation Fueling Station OR vi. Stand-alone Petroleum Oil Refinery OR Integrated Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemical plant OR vii. City Gas Distribution OR B. Engineering/ Technology Assistance/ Operations role for Retail Fueling Stations (POL products only) operating out of Territory / Sales / Divisional / Zonal / Regional office of a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization within India. 2. The candidate must currently be employed in a managerial/ supervisory role in a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization within India.
NOTE: A gap of less than or equal to 3 months in the work-ex will be permissible and will be considered as continuous work-experience.
2. Associate Executive (Engineering) –
Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications:  Candidate must have passed B. Tech / B.E./ B. 3. Junior Executive (Accounts) –
Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (relaxed to 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwBD categories) AND have passed the CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate from CA/ CMA institute respectively. Please note: Candidates having passed final examination from CA/ CMA institute are NOT eligible to apply.
Essential Work Experience (as on 01.09.2023):
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience in finance function.
• Relevant field of experience includes experience in the field(s) of Finance/ Accounts/ Taxation/ Cost Accounting/ Auditing etc. These fields/experiences are not exhaustive and indicative in nature. The Corporation reserves the right to take a final decision for considering/ not considering an experience as valid experience for the post.
• Experiences obtained after date of declaration of CA(Inter) / CMA(Inter) result shall only be considered for this position. Further, the articleship training/ practical training which are integrated to the curriculum of respective institution shall not be considered as valid experience for this purpose.
4. Junior Executive (Quality Assurance) –
Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications: B. Sc (Chemistry) (3- year course), with specialization in Organic / Physical / Inorganic / Analytical chemistry, from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories. OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering (3-year course) from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Essential Work Experience (as on 01.09.2023): – Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification relevant work-experience in Testing Laboratories, working for a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization / Stand-alone Petroleum Oil Refinery / Integrated Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemical plant. – Deep understanding and working knowledge of Testing and reasonable capability in front line maintenance of Test equipment is mandatory. -Work Experience in ISO/IEC:17025:2017 accredited Laboratory and knowledge on relevant documentation is required. – Hands on experience on LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is desirable.
5. Associate Executive (Human Resources) –
Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications: Essential Educational Qualifications / Certifications MBA (HR) /MA (PM&IR) / Post-Graduate Diploma in HR / PM&IR / MMS (HR/ Personnel)/ Masters in Labour Studies (2-year courses) with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 60% for SC/ ST / PWD categories
Essential Work Experience (as on 01.09.2023): Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant work-experience in Petroleum Oil & Gas or manufacturing organizations in various domains of Human Resource, such as Learning & Development / Talent Management / Employee Relations / Industrial Relations/ Talent Acquisition/ Performance Management/ Workforce Management/ HR Business Partner role. These domains are not exhaustive and are indicative in nature. The Corporation reserves the right to take a final decision for considering/ not considering an experience as a valid experience for the post.

Age Limit: (As on 01.09.2023)

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:

1. Junior Executive (Engineering) – Rs. 30,000 – ₹1,20,000
2. Associate Executive (Engineering) – Rs. 40,000 – ₹1,40,000
3. Junior Executive (Accounts) – Rs. 30,000 – ₹1,20,000
4. Junior Executive (Quality Assurance) – Rs. 30,000 – ₹1,20,000
5. Associate Executive (Human Resources) – Rs. 40,000 – ₹1,40,000

BPCL Junior Executive Selection Process 2023:

1. The multi-stage selection process may comprise of various shortlisting tools like Application Screening (on basis of number of years of relevant work-experience, educational qualification, etc.), Written/Computer Based Test, Case Based Discussion, Group Task, Personal Interview etc. The selection process adopted will depend on the number of applications received for a particular profile.

2. The provisional selection of the candidate will be based on multiple parameters, such as, Relevant work- experience, Significant on-the-job achievements, Performance in various selection processes.

3.
