Eligibility to Appear in CTET 2026:
- For Eligibility Criteria you may refer to NCTE website (https://ncte.gov.in) under the heading”Act & Regulations” and sub heading “Minimum Qualifications of Teachers” and”TET Guidelines”

- Paper I (Classes I to V)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least Fifty Percentage marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least Fourty Five Percentage% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (NCTE 2002 norms).
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least Fifty Percentage marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Graduation with at least Fifty Percentage marks and B.Ed (Note: Always check the latest Supreme Court/NCTE updates regarding B.Ed eligibility for Primary Level).
- Paper II (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Graduation with at least Fifty Percentage marks and passed/appearing in 1 or 2-year B.Ed.
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least Fifty Percentage marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed or B.A./B.Sc.Ed.
- Post-Graduation with minimum Fifty Five Percentage marks and passed/appearing in final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
Age Limit:
- 18 is the minimum age. There isn’t a maximum age.

No new registration or modification in the online application form shall be permitted after the last date for submission of online application i.e.07.04.2026.
