Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Assistant Director (Engg.) – Essential Qualification: i) Degree in Civil / Mechanical . Desirable: Experience in work connected with Inland waterway, Dredging, river conservancy work, river training, marking of fairway, etc. |
| 2. Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor (AHS) – Essential Qualification: i) Degree in Civil Engineering; or equivalent with three years’ experience in Hydrographic Survey. OR Survey Recorder-I of the Indian Navy with ten years experience in survey and navigation. Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Geographical Information System Software and computer operation. 2. Knowledge of Nautical Cartography |
| 3. Licence Engine Driver – Essential Qualification: i) Matriculation Pass Certificate ii) Certificate of competency as License Engine Driver iii) Should know swimming. Desirable: Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen/ Coast Guard/ Para-Military Forces personnel with required Certificate of Service issued by the Competent Authority. |

Junior Accounts Officer – Essential Qualification: Degree in Commerce from recognized university with 3 years experience of cash, Commercial Accounting and Budget work in Central/State Govts./ Statutory or Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings. | 5. Dredge Control Operator – Essential Qualification: i) Matriculation Pass Certificate ii) Certificate of competency as Driver First class with 10 years’ experience in the Grade or Petty Officer from Technical Branch of Indian Navy having Minimum one year experience in the Grade; or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience of Minimum one year in operation of dredgers; and iii) Should Knowledge of swimming. Desirable: Experience in operation and maintenance of Dredgers Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen / Para-Military Forces personnel / Coast Guard with the required Certificate of Service issued by the Competent Authority. |
| 6. Store Keeper – Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with 5 years experience in stores, handling, spares, equipments etc. Desirable : (i) Degree of recognized university or its equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Accountancy Book-Keeping and Typewriting. |
| 7. Master 2nd Class – Essential Qualification: (i) Certificate of competency as Master 2nd Class (ii) Should Know swimming. |
| 8. Staff Car Driver – Essential Qualification: (a) Should posses a valid driving licence with 2 years experience and atleast an Good knowledge of Motor Mechanism. (b) Middle School Certificate. |
