Educational Qualification:
| 1. Research Associate (RA) – With Doctoral degree: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience. OR With Master’s degree holders: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1 st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Inclex (SCI)/ NAAS rated (≥4.0) Journal as per OMSR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019 Desirable Qualifications: Experience inbasic molecular techniques (nucleicacidisolation, PCR, plasmid isolation, restriction, ligation, molecular marker etc), molecular cloning and recombinant vector development, genetic trans formation of crops (rice, mustard, millets, maizeetc), development and analysis of transgenic plants, genome editing of plants, plant tissue culture, scientific writing; as evident from publications. |

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Master degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET/ GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OMNo. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014- HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council** and OMSR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019. Salary Details:
| 1. Research Associate (RA) – Rs.49,000+ HRA per month (for Master Degree holders) (with 3-year experience) Or Rs.54,000 + HRA per month (for PhD degree holders) |
| 2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Rs.31,000 + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year & Rs.35,000 per month + HRA for 3rd year |
