Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Research Associate (RA) – With Doctoral degree: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience. OR with Master’s degree holders: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life science with desirable experience with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivale overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated (≥4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019 *Relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years) and other eligible categories shall be applicable as per GoI/ ICAR rules. **As per OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council, exemption from NET is available to the following candidates: (i) Ph.D. degree holders (ii) Professional Master’s degree holders (3 years) (iii) Master’s degree holders with integrated degrees like B.Tech. & M.Tech. (5 years) (iv) Any national level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Candidates having graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years masters degree should have NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No Agril. Salary Details:
