Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
1. Scientist-B (Mechanical) – Essential Qualifications: (i) Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute; and (ii) One year practical experience in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurement/ metrology in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute. OR (B) (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and (ii) Two years’ practical experience in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurements/ metrology in a recognized Laboratory/ Institute. Desirable: Research and Development experience in testing of engineering materials and metrology/ calibration of instruments and machines. |
2. Anthropologist (Physical Anthropology Division) – Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University with more than fifty percent papers in Physical Anthropology or Biological Anthropology in final year examination. Experience: Three years research experience in Anthropology. |
3. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Anaesthesiology) – Essential Qualifications: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holder of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-graduate Degree in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in SectionA of Schedule VI from recognized teaching institute i.e., Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology); or Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology); or Diplomate National Board (Anaesthesiology). Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree. |
4. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery) – Essential Qualifications: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery); or Magister Chirurguie (Thoracic Surgery); or Magister Chirurguie (Cardiac Surgery); or Magister Chirurguie (Vascular Surgery); or Diplomate National Board (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery/ Thoracic Surgery/ Cardiac Surgery/ Vascular Surgery). Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree. |
5. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neonatology) – Essential Qualifications: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute. i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neonatology); or Diplomate National Board (Neonatology); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Neonatology; or Diplomate National Board (Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Neonatology. Experience: Three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-Speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Postgraduate degree. |

9. Assistant Executive Engineer – Educational: Bachelors Degree in Drilling or Mining or Mechanical or Electrical or Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Petroleum Technology from a recognized University or Institute. Experience: Two years’ experience in operation or maintenance and repair of different types of Drilling Rigs or construction of different types of Tube wells or Ground Water Development and Management. |
10. Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering) – Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Experience: Possessing three years’ experience in Civil Engineering. |
11. Scientist ‘B’ (Electronics / Instrumentation) – Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university or institute. 12. Assistant Director (Safety) – Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical or Marine or Production or Industrial or Instrumentation or Civil Engineering or Architecture or Textile Chemistry or Textile Technology or Computer Science or Electronics & Communication of a recognized University /Institutes. Experience: Three years’ experience in handling various aspects of industrial safety in a factory, dock, ship, construction site or physical and chemical testing of textiles in an industrial concern or research laboratory or a technical institution or organization or in a government department dealing with the administration of Factories Act 1948 (63 of 1948) or the Dock Workers (Safety, Health & Welfare) Act 1986 (54 of 1986) or the Building and other construction workers (regulation of employment conditions of services) Act 1996 (27 of 1996). Desirable: (i) Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology relevant to essential qualification mentioned above from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Master’s Degree or Post Graduate in Industrial Safety from a recognized university or Institute. (iii) Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized University or Institute. (iv) Experience in planning, organising and coordinating of research, education and training activities pertaining to industrial safety, dock safety and construction safety. |
