NPOL DRDO JRF & RA Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Research Associate (RA) – Ocean Science – Ph.D in Ocean Sciences or relevant allied subjects preferably with experience in the field of Physical / Chemical Oceanography OR M. Tech (Ocean Technology) with 3 years of post qualification research or teaching experience in the field of Physical / Chemical Oceanography having at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal |

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering – BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg / Electronics & Communication Engg in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or ME/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg /Electronics & Communication Engg in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. |
| 3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Computer Science & Engineering – B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engg in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification. or M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science Engg in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level. |

Age Limit:
| 35 years as on date of walk-in interview for RA and 28 years as on the date of walk-in interview for JRF. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC as per Government of India norms. |

: Interested candidates may appear for a Walk-in Interview on the above mentioned date & time at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya in the campus of NAVAL PHYSICAL & OCEANOGRAPHIC LABORATORY, THRIKKAKARA P.O., KOCHI 682021. They are required to produce all certificates/testimonials/Community certificate / valid GATE/NET Score card (for JRFs) etc. in original at the time of Interview. They must also bring a set of self-attested copies of all their testimonials/certificates and an ID proof (Voter’s ID/ Aadhaar card/PAN card/Driving License) in original along with one recent colour passport size photograph at the time of interview.
