Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Violin – Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Violin) from a Government recognized Institute |
| 2. Mridangam – Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Instrumental Music (Mridangam) from a Government recognized Institute |
Essential minimum prescribed qualification:
i. Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen / PWDs candidates and in case of Applicants who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.
Note: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk – Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 Words per minute (w.p.m) in English or 25 Words per minute (w.p.m) in Hindi within a period of 2 years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional. OR
ii. Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT for technician categories. OR
iii. Matriculation (10th) plus ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT for technician categories.
