Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Research Associate – Essential qualifications : The candidate should have a PhD degree or submitted his/her doctoral thesis in Physics/Computational Biology/Chemistry and at least 2 publications in indexed international journals. Desirable capabilities: The chosen applicant will collaborate with Dr. Satyavani Vemparala, Dr. Debayan Chakraborty, and perhaps other Soft Matter group faculty members on a project that aims to model biological systems, particularly large-scale protein and/or nucleic acid simulations. The candidate should necessarily have good command over molecular dynamics programming, biophysics and familiarity with coding and analyses of large biological simulation data. A background in research in biological physics is strongly needed. |
| 2. Research Associate – Essential qualifications : The Applicant should have a Doctorate degree or submitted his/her doctoral thesis in Physics and at least Two publications in indexed international journals. Desirable capabilities: The selected Applicant will work with Dr. Sandeep Choubey on unravelling the design principles of cellular decision-making out of equilibrium. The applicant should be highly proficient in statistical mechanics. A background in research in quantitative biology/ biological physics is strongly desirable. |
