HPCL Junior Executive Selection Process:

The Selection Procedure of the Exam will be as follows:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Task/ Group Discussion

2. Skill Test, Personal Interview etc.

Exam Pattern for HPCL Junior Executive Posts:

a. The selection process may comprise of various shortlisting and selection tools like Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Task/ Group Discussion, Skill Test, Personal Interview etc. which would be administered in accordance with the requirements of the position.

b. Any candidate who claims to meet the requirements for eligibility may be invited to take a computer-based test.

c. Computer Based Test will consist of objective questions and will comprise of two parts.

i.English language proficiency, a quantitative aptitude test, and an intellectual potential test (logical reasoning and data interpretation) make up general aptitude.

ii. Technical/Professional Knowledge, which includes inquiries about the educational background and qualifying degree needed for the applied position.

d. Candidates qualifying in the Computer Based Test may be called for Group Task/ Group Discussion, Skill Test and Personal Interview in order of merit & predetermined ratio.Those who pass the skill test and group task/discussion will be referred for a personal interview. On the basis of their overall performance in the computer-based test, the skill test, the group task/discussion, and the personal interview, candidates will also be referred for the pre-employment medical examination.

e. To be considered for further selection, candidates must receive a minimum of qualifying marks in each of the relevant stages of the selection process.

f. A category & discipline-wise merit list will be drawn for all the candidates who qualify in all the applicable stages.
